Q

controversy around comics

A

after WW2, people wanted something besides superheroes, thus comics about crime and romance were born. This was seen as bad. Then horror books came to be, someone wrote a book about how comics were teaching kinds on how to do crime. People turned against comics. Comics Code of Authority was born, no graphic content, race or gender discussions. Half of comics disappeard. In 2011 the Comics Code of Authority dissappeared.
