Question 1

What happens when the MECH pb is pushed?

Answer 1

A blue light appears on the external panel on the Nose Landing gear bay with an external horn. The light can be extinguished and horn cancelled from the external panel with a reset button

Question 2

What happens when the FWD / AFT pb is pushed?

Answer 2

Two lights come on in the related area, CAPTAINS CALL appears on the Attendant Indication Panel (AIP), there is a high low chime

Question 3

What happens when the ALL pb is pushed?

Answer 3

All the cabin stations get the call, two lights in pink, CAPTAINS CALL on the Attendant Indication Panel (AIP) message and a high low chime sounds

Question 4

What happens when the guarded EMER CALL pb is pressed?

Answer 4

In the Cockpit:

1. On flashes in white, Call in amber on the button
2. ATT lights will flash on all ACP’s
3. Three high low chimes will sound in the cabin (inhibited during take off and landing)

In the Cabin:
Emergency Call will appear on all AIP’s and three long buzzers in the cockpit
