OFF

1. Shuts off the Enhanced functions but keeps the basic functions. Does not affect Modes 1-5 of the GPWS
2. Nav GPWS Terr Det Fault appears

Only the looking forward capability is lost. Modes 1, are still available

OFF - All basic GPWS warnings are inhibited. Modes 1-5

Fault in amber - any malfunction from modes 1-5, with ECAM

What is the G/S Mode button for?

Answer 3

Inhibits the GPWS Glide Slope warning, Mode 5

What is the Flap Mode OFF button for? When is it used?

OFF

1. Inhibits Mode 4. “too low flaps”.
2. Used for failures with a reduced flap setting. Memo on the EWD

What is the LDG Flap 3 button for?

Answer 5

For landings that will be conducted in Flap 3 instead of Flaps Full. A memo is shown on the EWD
