A

Level off at 1000ft in the crosswind leg or the down wind and will maintain throughout the circuit

When should you conduct your BUMFISH checks

A

Should get out of the way asap when turning onto down wind, don’t want to be full focus on the check as need to maintain heading, altitude, spacing, speed.

A

Downwind abeam, speed check below 110kts, first stage flap
Downwind abeam is when you are in line with the end of the threshold
