Q

Units vs. Items

Measurements (Volume/Weight/Time/Money)

vs

Countable Items (Physical Objects)

A

Measurements (Volume/Weight/Time/Money) = It’s uncountable. We see the total amount as one single “blob” or “block.”

2 kilos of bread is a lot of weight.

Countable Items (Physical Objects) = You are counting individual, separate things.

2 loaves of bread are on the counter. (You can see two distinct objects).
