what factors do we consider when we’re examining occlusion?

A
  • is ICP stable?
  • asses excursions: lateral excursion
  • have they got canine guidance or group function?
  • look for clinical signs:
    • wear facets (flat surface, shiny restoration, wearing into next layer of enamel)
  • hypertrophy of the muscles
  • enamel fractures/ cracks in the teeth
