When a caution occurs outside the normal field of vision of the Flight Crew
Red
Amber
Single/simple faults do not illuminate the System Annunciator nor MASTER CAUTION lights except when MC Recall is pressed
More than 2000 ft above
TOO LOW FLAPS
-An approach other than ILS, or
-More than 2 dots off LOC or GS, or
-Backcourse LOC approach
Aural warning “Windshear! Windshear!” and red “WINDSHEAR” displayed on both PFDs
EXTRA CREDIT:
Windshear alerting is active under the following conditions:
• During takeoff, from rotation until 1500’ AGL
• During approach, from 1500 ft AGL to 10’ AGL
• During a missed approach until 1500’ AGL is reached
The autopilot has reached 75% of its total roll authority
By selecting WXR on the EFIS control panel
displays:
- weather radar returns + turbulence (manual mode)
- weather radar returns + threats (auto mode)
Predictive
No, Flight Crews must continue to rely on traditional windshear avoidance methods as the weather radar is not capable of supplying predictive windshear in clear air.
Approximately 12 seconds
Note: PWS activates automatically in flight below 2300 ft RA (predictive windshear alerts are issued below 1200 ft RA)
“MONITOR RADAR DISPLAY” is the only aural PWS Caution. This alert sounds during takeoff and approach, with a detected windshear within 3 miles and ahead, and there will be a commensurate visual alert showing you where the system detected the windshear to help you avoid it.
RAAS operates without any actions required by the Flight Crew.
-Terrain/runway contained in the EGPWS db
-GPS available
-RUNWAY INHIBIT switch in NORM
Red lines to stay outside of
Amber dot on ND
The amber MAINT light on the aft overhead panel indicates a system fault exists that must be reviewed by maintenance
The magenta MAINT indication, visible on the top right of the DU, when SYS switch is selected on the ground, is normal and not an indication of a malfunction

The GPWS provides BANK ANGLE alert when the roll angle exceeds _____, _____, and _____?
-When aircraft is 5-30’ AGL; Back angle >10
-When aircraft is 30-130’ AGL; Variable Back angle between 10 and 35
-When aircraft is >130’ AGL; Back angle >35

When does the MASTER CAUTION light illuminate for a single/simple fault?
Master Caution Recall
