4. Termination of ectopic or multifocal atrial tachycardia with preserved LV function
5. Rate control in A-fib or A-flutter when other therapies are ineffective

1. Hypersensitivity to Cordarone

2. CARDIOGENIC SHOCK, SINUS BRADYCARDIA, 2ND OR 3RD DEGREE AV BLOCK UNLESS THE PACEMAKER IS AVAILABLE

Amiodarone dosage and administration

1. Cardiac arrest
   a. 300mg IV/IO push, repeat 150 mg (3-5min)
   b. Max dose: 2.2 g IV/IO 24 hours
   c. Pediatric: 5 mg/kg IV/IO push, up to max of 300 mg. May repeat to total dose of 15 mg/kg
2. Wide complex tachycardia
   a. Infusion of 150 mg IV/IO over 10 min
   b. Repeat every 10 min as needed
