1. Usual dose is 1g for adults, 50mg/kg max 1g. for children.
2. Ceftriaxone IV must be made up to 10mL using 9.5mL of sterile water and administered over 2 minutes
3. Ceftriaxone IM must be made up to 4mL using 3.5mL of Lignocaine 1%, and administered into lateral upper thigh
