Q

A

Because of my opposition political beliefs while working at Agroindustria Azucarera Río Turbio, I was criticized and humiliated for serving as a polling witness in favor of opposition candidate Henrique Capriles. I was labeled a “traitor to the homeland” and received repeated calls from supervisors threatening that I would lose my job for supporting an opposition candidate, attempting to force me to resign.

A

While driving home at night, a pickup truck followed me for several minutes and then intentionally struck my vehicle from behind, causing it to spin and sustain damage. After the collision, the individuals drove past shouting “Daniel, escuálido,” which I understood as a targeted attack against me because of my political views.

A

As I arrived at my home, I was intercepted by two armed motorcyclists who identified themselves as pro-government colectivos. They shouted threats while firing shots at my vehicle, striking the passenger-side door. I repeatedly sounded my horn and accelerated to escape and avoid being killed.
