1
Q

Your openers should be _____________

A

Specific to her. Stay away from generic boring openers girls hear from every guy.

You can easily connect what she’s wearing with a certain decade, or some kind of cultural reference, or a movie/book character.

Q

COMPLIMENT OPENERS = Kiss of Death

A

This happens to a lot of guys when they’re coming back from a break in game and are rusty; they open a girl and default to giving her a compliment and then stack, forgetting to tease, and it creates nice-guy day-game with no edge.

It sub-communicates to her that her SMV is higher and so you are trying to flatter her to make up for it. Instant attraction killer.

Q

Elephant in the Room

A

If there’s an elephant in the room, such as she’s waiting for a friend, busy working on her laptop, etc., call it out so you show you have enough social savvy to know what’s going on.

Do this after you’ve you say “this is spontaneous of me”. Example.) “This is spontaneous of me and I know you’re in the middle of working, but I was just off to meet my friend for some steak when I saw you….”

A

21
Q

She’s wearing a 1980s power suit with shoulder pads

A

“and I loved the _1980’s power suit, with the shoulder pads, it just made me reminiscent of a period that I didn’t even live in”

22
Q

If you can’t think of an observation off the spot, instead of saying “and what I noticed about you is…”, you can just say ___

A

“I thought you looked…interesting”

23
Q

She was in a relaxed mood

A

“You looked so relaxed, like you just finished a yoga class, or perhaps you smoked a little weed…” [look at her in an accusatory way as you say it]

24
Q

An exception to the kiss of death rule, a genuine specific compliment that has some element of teasing to it is fine, as that would be a push/pull.

A

For example, telling a girl “I loved the 1980’s power suit with the shoulder pads, it just made me reminiscent of a period that I didn’t even live in”. You’re subtly teasing her that her fashion is very out of style, but still saying you love it, so that is a push/pull.

25
Push/Pull Observation Opener (fit body)
"Excuse me" "This is spontaneous of me. I was just off to meet my friend for some steak, but I saw you" "and you just looked ___like you have a great figure__ [pull], you must be a real gym rat"
26
Push/Pull Observation Opener (artistic look)
"Excuse me" "This is spontaneous of me. I was just off to meet my friend for some steak, but I saw you" "and you just looked ___like the artsy creative type__ [pull], I bet you've got at least 3 half-finished projects at home"
27
Self-Amusement Frame
You're projecting sexual intent, but you're also indifferent to her reaction (unphased), as you said what you said because you're enjoying yourself and having fun.
28
Shock and Awe Opener
Hey, I don't mean to be rude, but... Has anyone told you how bad you smell? I just walked by and got a fat whiff of shi*t + [hold tension - deadpan face] I'm just fking with you [smile]. When I saw you here I thought 'she probably gets approached 100 times a week. Come up with something different and see if she has a sense of humor you can enjoy'.
29
Indirect-Direct (Situational Comment)
"Looks like you're really deep into that book. Is that something I should be reading?" Her: XYZ Vibe with her for a bit, then --> "to be honest I saw you, and you looked like you might be my kind of girl, so I wanted to see if your vibe matched your look"
30
If she says 'Does it?'
"Well, we're yet to find out" [ smile + hands rowing motion] "So far so good" "You seem very positive, you seem optimistic"
31
Accusational Opener (from forced IOI)
"Woah woah woah! Stop right there...You are not allowed to check me out like that and then not say hello. I'm not a piece of meat. I have a name. I have hopes and dreams." [playful cocky smile]
