The vet Glucometers were falsely low in samples with PCV <31% and falsely high for samples with PCC > 43% on both canine and feline settings. Correction formulas did not improve accuracy.

No major differences in appetite, stress markers, or behaviors. CO2 insufflation did not appear to cause significant pain or stress and it is reasonable to consider using it during laparoscopy in this species.
