How do you test (HT Engine, Lp Lub oil, OCM, Over speed) trips

Engine trip testing is done off load

• Ht cooling : By removing the sensing prob outside its housing and placing it in a heat element and gradually rise the temperature until it trips ~ 93 degrees

– Low lub oil pressure : using a hand pump build up the pressure to the engine running pressure and then isolate the sensor from the engine using a its isolation valve and slowly lower the pressure until the alarm trips

• OCM using test spray to simulate mist inside the photoelectric cell
• over speed is achieved buy lowering the setting prior to starting the engine and the insuring the engine trips at the new overspeed limit
