A

How is the the crew mask microphone deactivated when the mask is stowed?

A

The reset control slide does this. It is not automatic

How do we know if a thermal discharge of the O2 cylinder has happened?

A

The green disk on the forward fuselage, left side low would be missing

O2 pressure too low?

A

Low pressure is a possibility if the amber half frame is indicated around the PSI shown on the DOOR system page.

Refer to the FCOM limitations.

What does minimum O2 pressure guarantee?

A

Adequate oxygen for…
• preflight checks
• O2 use while one crewmember is out of the cockpit
• normal leakage
• Emergency use with the regulator set to NORMAL
…during 15 minutes of emergenct descent
…and 105 minutes of cruise at FL100
• Emergency use against smoke with the regulator set to 100% during 15 minutes at an 8,000’ cabin altitude.
