Dosing Regimes of Morphine?
IM/SC
- Adults = 0.1mg/kg IM/SC to a max of 10mg, repeated once after 20 mins
- Paeds = 0.1mg/kg IM to a max of 5mg in a single dose, consult for further doses if required
IV/IO
- Adults = 0.05mg/kg IV/IO to a max of 5mg per dose (1mg = 20kg), repeating 5 minutely to a max of 20mg
