carefully worded statement of the exact procedures (operations) used in a research study.
What is Replication?
repeat the essence of a research study, usually with different
participants in different situations, to see if basic finding extends to other circumstances and people. Replicating comes from precise descriptions.

What is a case Study?
descriptive technique in which one individual or group is studied in depth in the hope of revealing universal principles
What are naturalistic observations?
observing and recording behavior in naturally occurring situations without trying to
manipulate and control the situation
What can naturalistic observation give us?
They can give us a description of someones behavior but it does not explain it.
What is a Survey?
technique for gathering self-reported attitudes or behaviors of a particular group, usually by questioning a representative, random sample of the group
What is random sampling and which description does it belong too?
every person in the group has an equal chance of inclusion. Choose a random way to separate everyone. It belongs to surverys
What is a population?
those in a group being studied from which samples may be drawn
