17
Q

Define Prefix

A

word part that appears at the beginning of a term.

18
Q

Define Combining form

A

includes a word root with its respective combining vowel.

19
Q

Define Suffix

A

word part that appears at the end of a term.

20
Q

What is Non-decodable terms?

A

words created without word parts that can be used to define them.(Abbreviations, Acronyms, and Symbols)

21
Q

Define Abbreviations

A

Terms that have been shortened to letters or numbers for the sake of
convenience. Can be letters or letters/numbers.

22
Q

Define Acronyms

A

Abbreviations that are also pronounceable.

A

Graphic representation of terms.
