What is the basis of CLED agar?
A
The basis of CLED agar is that the media contains lactose, cysteine, a low electrolyte concentration and a pH indicator like bromothymol blue to prevent Proteus spp. from swarming and to differentiate between bacteria based on their ability to ferment lactose.
