Calcium deposits in healthy cells and tissues due to hypercalcaemia

A
tissues that secrete acid and have and internal alkaline pH : kidney, stomach, lung

A
- respiratory dysfunction
- nephrocalcinosis

Why is there high calcium in renal failure?
A
phosphate is not secreted but retended so there is low serum calcium - so parathyroid produces parathromone to raise calcium levels
