Increases

• Pulse rate by increasing S.A. node firing rate (Beta 1)
• Conduction velocity through the A.V. node (Beta 1)
• Myocardial contractility (Beta 1)
• Irritability of the ventricles (Beta 1)

Causes

• Bronchodilatation (Beta 2)
• Peripheral vasoconstriction (Alpha)

Excreted by the kidneys

Adrenaline Indications

• Asystole
• Persistent VF or unconscious pulseless VT
• EMD/PEA
• Anaphylactic reactions
• Severe Asthma
• Inadequate perfusion (Cardiogenic)
• Inadequate perfusion (Non Cardiogenic - Non Hypovolamic)
• Croup or suspected Croup
• Unconscious Asthma with no recordable BP
  Bradycardia with poor perfusion
