16
Q

From the SSF, what controls are available for Secondary Side Volume Control?

17
Q

What S/G level at the SSF will fail open SA-5?

A

2 out of 4 S/G WR level less than 45%.

18
Q

What are the methods for controlling S/G level at the SSF panel?

A
  • Preferred - Stop and start CAPT #1(2) by depressing the ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ switch for the steam supply valve 1(2) SA-5
  • Start and stop CAPT #1(2) by pressing “OPEN” or “CLS/TRIP” on the switch “CAPT #1(2) TRIP T/V CTRL”

**The use of CAPT #1(2) Trip Throttle valve shall only be as a last resort. If it is used to start the pump, there is a possibility that CAPT #1(2) will overspeed.

19
Q

What secondary system valves automatically close when control is transfer to the SSF?

A
  • S/G blowdown containment isolations
  • Main steam isolations
  • S/G PORVs
  • CF containment isolation bypasses
  • S/G tempering isolations
20
Q

What valves automatically open when control is transfer to the SSF?

A
  • CAPT CA flow control valves
  • “C” S/G CA motor operated isolation
21
Q

How many Incore thermocouples are used at the SSF?

22
Q

When must the sub bank of “D” PZR htrs be energized to ensure a PZR bubble remains in the PZR.

A
  • Within 15 hours of using the SSF with Containment Ventilation system (VV) in operation,
    or
  • Within 50 hours with VV not in operation
23
Q

To limit flooding of the CAPT in the CA pump room, RN must be secured with how many minutes?

24
Q

Per SLC 16.7-9 Standby Shutdown System (SSS) what is the required action if A required cell in a 24-Volt battery bank is < 1.36 volt on float charge?

A

Immediately declare the SSF nun-functional
