3 He [Zacchaeus] was trying to see who Jesus was, but the crowd prevented him from doing so, since he was short in stature.
4 Therefore he [Zacchaeus] ran on ahead and climbed up a sycamore tree in order to be able to see him [Jesus], given that Jesus was going to pass that way.
5 Jesus looked up and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, come down at once. I must stay at your house today.’
5 Jesús miró hacia arriba y le dijo:
—Zaqueo, baja enseguida. Tengo que quedarme hoy en tu casa.
7 Everyone began to grumble: ‘He has gone to stay [as a guest] with a sinner.’
9 Jesus said to him [Zacchaeus], “Today salvation has come to this house, since this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which had been lost.”
11 While the people were listening to him, he proceeded to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at any moment.
13b He instructed them [the servants]: Put this money to work until I return.
15b When he returned to his country, he summoned the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had earned.
30b “Untie it [the colt] and bring it here.”
30b Desátenlo y tráiganlo acá.
35a So they brought it [the colt]
to Jesus.
35a Se lo llevaron, pues, a Jesús.
40b “I assure you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
42 “How I wish that today you might know what can bring you peace! But now that is hidden from your eyes.”
