저와 제 친구는 지난주에 등산 약속을 했어요. 그런데 그날 비가 와서 그 약속을 취소하게 됐어요. 그래서 우리는 집에서 영화를 봤어요. 영화를 보면서 모르는 단어를 찾으니까 단어 공부를 많이 하게 됐어요. 듣기 연습도 하게 됐고요. 약속이 취소됐지만 영화도 보고 한국어 공부도 하게 돼서 좋았어요.
My friend and I made an appointment to go hiking together last week. But that appointment was cancelled because it rained on that day, That is why we watched a movie at my house. We discovered a lot of words we didn’t know while watching the movie so we ended up studying a lot of words. It was also a time to practice our listening. Even though the appointment was cancelled, it was fun because we watched a movie and studied Korean.

흐엉: 아버지께서 회사 일 때문에 갑자기 한국에 출장을 오시게 됐어. 아버지께서 한국에 처음 오시니까 내가 아버지를 도와 드려야 할 것 같아.
Huang: My father came to Korea on a business trip all of a sudden because of his work. It’s his first time in Korea so I think I have to help him.
